It brings a tear to my eye
As I look to the sky
I know
It won’t be there tomorrow
Fading to black
Bubbling grey
Hope in decay
This soul fades away
Fighting these demons for fun
Skeletons blackened in the sun
Again I fell for hope
But I’ve run out of rope
This is the end
With death as my friend
White turns to black
Black fades to grey
Just know it’s okay
Though
I won’t be here tomorrow
